Every project is different, so we will always assess your item of furniture at a free home visit before giving any formal quote. However, the following costs for replacing the top fabric on a range of standard items may be used as a guide.

Note that these costs are for labour only and do not include any upholstery materials or top fabric. Upholstery materials costs will be estimated upfront and itemised on the final invoice. We will also advise you how much fabric you will need for your project and are happy to help you to source something suitable.

Additional work such as deep buttoning or lots of decorative studs will cost more, as will any repair work to structural damage such as broken springs. It is difficult to generalise about such costs as it depends on the extent of the work, but please do not be afraid to ask as it may not cost as much as you think and we will try to find a way to work within your budget.
